Is this the first appearance of ‘Toms River’ in a mutation? I’m a little bit surprised, definitely pleased, that it’s not anything to do with those barrels of sludge that Ciba Geigy buried in the woods way back when.
Maybe this is one of those ‘science stating the obvious’ types of studies, but if stating the obvious won’t help, surely ignoring the obvious won’t either. For every 2 hours of TV watch, you are 20% more likely to develop type 2 diabetes, 15% more likely to develop cardiovascular disease (i.e. heart attack/stroke), and 13% more likely to die for any reason. I just hope Mad Men doesn’t count.
